Places to go
- Commonwealth Air Training Plan – an airplane museum on the site of a WW 2 training airport. Many rare trainers and interesting finds for the aviation fan.
Things to do
So many things to do in Manitoba, this is a resource of some of “What I have found” useful.
Fishing
Many locations and types of fish and ways to fish in Manitoba. Fly fishing small streams to deep water fish.. I’ve never tried it there so I’ll just say, good luck.
Hiking
You can explore the trails or the coastlines to put your hiking urge to rest!
Skiing
Hunting
The firearm and hunting rules are complicated and can get you into trouble so make sure you understand them or you can rely on a guiding service. Go back to Canada page for the warnings etc. on Canada’s firearm laws etc.
Then head for the airport and look for guides etc.
