So much to explore and do in Nova ScotiaI haven’t done a tiny fraction but here is a start for you on “What I have found”

Places to go
- Peggy’s Cove and the town of Lunenburg are a good way to see some history and explore… make sure to check out the seafood too.
- Annapolis Royal
- Alexander Graham Bell museum at Baddeck – History of the discoveries and inventions of Alexander Graham Bell
- Fortress of Louisbourg – explore the 1800’s and smell the smoke of black powder muskets
Things to do
So many things to do in Nova Scotia, this is a resource of some of “What I have found” useful.
Fishing
Many locations and types of fish and ways to fish in Nova Scotia. Fly fishing small streams to wrestling huge salt water fish.. I’ve never tried it there so I’ll just say, good luck.
Hiking
You can explore the trails or the coastline to put your hiking urge to rest!
Whale Watching
Many tours available to go see the whales and even a chance to see them from shore. If you are lucky like we were you can see a big school of pilot whales up near Cape Breton.
Skiing
Hunting
The firearm and hunting rules are complicated and can get you into trouble so make sure you understand them or you can rely on a guiding service. Go back to Canada page for the warnings etc. on Canada’s firearm laws etc.
Then head for the airport and look for guides etc.
- Book Your Hunt for Nova Scotia – I’ve used Book Your Hunt but not in Nova Scotia.
